Course Objective
Review of fundamentals of Motor, Generator, Cable, Switchgears, Power and Distribution Transformers, and their construction, installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance. This course will cover the latest maintenance trends and diagnostics testing. It would also cover how to collect the data from the field and interpret the test results to make informed decision.
Course Description
During this course the attendee will refresh or gain fundamentals of electrical equipment and they will be taught about the latest Condition Based Maintenance of electrical equipment in addition to commissioning tests.
Fundamentals of;
| 1. | | Electromagnetism, AC motor/Generator construction and Type of motors and Generators, installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Test. |
| 2. | | Power Cable, construction, installation, commissioning and diagnostic Testing on Cable. A brief theory behind cable fault location will also be touched and discussed. |
| 3. | | Power & Distribution Transformers, construction, installation, commissioning and Diagnostic Testing of transformers. |
| 4. | | Switchgears its construction, installation, commissioning and diagnostic testing of the switchgears. |
